About the Role:

We are seeking a Quality Control (QC) Engineer to join our dynamic team at GMP MediTech, located in Visnagar, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of quality in our orthopedic medical devices and ensuring compliance with regulatory norms and internal SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and in-process products.
• Approve or reject products based on inspection results and quality standards.
• Select output samples and evaluate them using standard tools and techniques.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, departmental, and company quality standards.
• Report quality issues to the Senior Engineer and QC In-Charge and assist in corrective actions.
• Approve products for the next stage (Batch Release) after verifying all quality checks.
• Act as the point of contact for internal quality-related matters.
• Maintain and calibrate measuring and monitoring instruments.
• Ensure only approved materials proceed to the next processing stage.
• Tag and return non-conforming materials with a detailed NC report.
• Coordinate the rework process and ensure corrective actions for NC products.
• Accurately fill route cards and maintain quality documentation.
• Assist in reviewing and approving quality-related documents.
• Reject any product not aligned with specifications, drawings, or reference samples.
• Coordinate with senior staff for failure analysis and discrepancy resolution.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in quality control.
• Solid understanding of QC systems, inspection processes, and standards.
• Familiarity with medical devices, preferably orthopedic products

Desirable Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in the MedTech or orthopedic manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
